STRONG AND COURAGEOUS – Our verse of the week comes from a passage where the Lord is saying to Joshua, who had just succeeded Moses as Israel’s leader, that He will be with him in his new leadership role. Just as these words must have been a great encouragement to Joshua, so they should be for all who are doing God’s will in leadership roles today.
Be strong and courageous. Do not be terrified; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.
