Applications are now open for anyone interested in Coaching4Christ Internships running from September 2019-June 2020. Interns on this year-long internship programme at Coaching4Christ, based in Ahoghill, County Antrim, must be at least 18 years of age. They will need to be willing to commit three days per week to this voluntary position.

Internship Pathways
There are four different focus points to choose from when you become a C4C Intern.
FOOTBALL COACH
Join Rodney, Simon & Jess as they coach football skills in schools and throughout the C4C youth academy teams. In every session there is an opportunity to share the gospel, and each week we will reach 1250 children in schools alone.

HOCKEY COACH
Hockey specialist Erin has built up a great reputation in local primary and secondary schools over the last year. If you have a passion for hockey and sharing Jesus with others this internship could be for you.

UNITE GYM INTERN
Our Gym in Ahoghill is run by our two professional instructors Ali & Jo Colvin. You will be assisting with the development of physical training programmes, along with creating new ideas for Unite’s ever-popular fitness classes. You will be facilitating special events, along with building relationships with our clients throughout your internship. If fitness is your thing and you enjoy sharing Jesus through conversations and relationships – grab this opportunity.

An opportunity to undertake training courses (e.g. Fitness Instructor Level 2)
MEDIA INTERN
This will involve helping the organisation with paper based & web design, social media updates and promotional material. This is a great opportunity to add some charitable work to your portfolio.
You will need:
– A DSLR Camera
– A personal laptop
– Preferably some previous experience in using Adobe Software
– A willingness to help in other areas (e.g. schools work) when necessary

Where are Coaching4Christ based?
C4C works primarily in the Ballymena area during Sept – May, while in the summer months coaches travel around Northern Ireland doing summer camps and going on overseas trips.
What is the time commitment?
The internship program is 3 days per week. This gives interns an opportunity to work part time/continue with studies, and be able to support themselves financially.
The working days range from 9 – 4pm, to 9 – 9pm depending on what coaching group you are assigned to in the evenings.
Every intern will have at least one late night.
Will I get paid?
All internships are voluntary posts, but you are encouraged to involve your local church in this decision and ask for their support (both in prayer and finances) throughout your internship.
C4C asks that the first half of your fee (e.g £650) to be paid by your starting date, while the remainder of the cost can be paid throughout the year (e.g. £65 per month over 10 months)
Other Info:
· Unfortunately, Coaching4Christ are not in a position to offer accommodation
· You will need your own form of transport to travel to and from the centre in Ahoghill
· You will receive FREE membership at Unite Gym throughout your internship with C4C
