LESS ONE Ladies Friendship Group monthly meeting

LESS ONE Ladies Friendship Group, (Innisrush) plan to meet again on Tuesday 2nd April 2019 at 3 Sixteen Café on Main Street, Portglenone from 10:30am.
Eager to tell us more about the upcoming gathering, Angela Whyte who leads the group, told us:
“Our speakers this month will be Colin and Jill from the Friends of VisPa charity, which is based in Ahoghill. They will share stories about their work with widows and orphans in Kenya. Jill, who works for Specsavers, will also gladly receive any old single-frame glasses for adults and children to take to Africa. These can be left in to 3 Sixteen Café before 2nd April 2019.”
Along with a message from the visitors, everyone at the meeting can enjoy the six Cs – cake, chorus, chat, coffee, craic and comfort.
As always, Angela and her team are grateful to the Minister and Kirk Session of First Portglenone Presbyterian Church for use of their facilities. They are also keen to thank the caretaker who prepares the building each month.

LESS ONE is for all ladies who are living alone. Free parking is available in the Church Car Park opposite the Café. Anyone who needs a lift to LESS ONE should let Angela or one of the team know and they will collect you, simply telephone: 028 2582 1883.
