First Ballymena Presbyterian Church proudly presents the Londonderry Musical Society and Britannia Concert Band to perform SHOWSTOPPERS 2018 on Saturday 24th November at 8pm.
Although the evening has been organised by First Ballymena it will be held at Cambridge House Grammar School, Cambridge Avenue, Galgorm Road, Ballymena BT42 2EL.
This stunning performance will feature an array of theatrical classics including: ‘Anthem From Chess’ and ‘Cabaret’, not forgetting pop standards such as ‘I Can’t Help Falling In Love With You’, ‘From A Distance’ and ‘You Got A Friend In Me.’
‘Blaze Away’ is certain to set hearts racing, ‘Over The Rainbow’ will be a treat for fans of Judy Garland or Eva Cassidy, while ‘Goodnight Sweetheart’ will send the audience home with a happy heart.
First Ballymena spokesman, Stephen Lamont, is excited about the concert which will include all these songs and many more.
He told us: “Showstoppers 2018 is a night which should appeal to all the family and cross every generation musically. It promises to be a really enjoyable concert with all proceeds going towards our Church’s Building Renovations Fund.”
