Since the beginning of August we have looked at Paul’s prayer for the Ephesian church and how this prayer would still be relevant for our church today. As we go into this last week of August, our verse of the week continues with Paul’s words immediately after his prayer. Here Paul encourages unity among the church.
….. I urge you to live a life worthy of the calling you have received. Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love. Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace.
