Radio Cracker Ballymena Raise An Amazing £63,800
Radio Cracker Ballymena have raised an amazing total of £63,800 from their 2016 broadcast. This is considerably more than the last couple of years’ totals. This fantastic sum of money now means Radio Cracker will be able to fully support all the projects it undertook to fund for various Christian charities across the world. The Ballymena based charity radio station is on air every year for 4 weeks in the run up to Christmas.
The total was raised by various events being held throughout the year as well as the radio broadcast. These include a country music concert, table quiz, a local supermarket collection day etc. The Radio Cracker shop always brings in a large amount of money and this year was no exception. In fact it was the best year ever for the shop takings. The success of the radio station is also dependent on many businesses who sponsor and advertise on it and to the public for donations.
Radio Cracker Ballymena raise an amazing £63,800 by the end of their 2016 broadcast. They would like to thank everyone who supported them and helped them reach this total.
A Radio Cracker spokesperson said, “We would like to thank everyone for their generosity. This is a fantastic total, and even more impressive given the tough financial situation facing many people. A huge thank you to the public and businesses who continue to support our efforts year after year. We are now in a position to be able to fund all the projects we undertook to support. That means we can now supply what we would call the basics, but life saving and life changing funding for many people and projects across the world. For example, restoring sight to many in India through funding cataract operations, clean drinking water by supplying water tanks to an area in Kenya, providing classrooms and teaching materials for children in Beirut. These are only a few, you can read about all the projects on our website here.“
Radio Cracker is now off air but will be returning again at the end of November. Like them on Facebook here to keep up to date with all future events and news.
