Reaching & Teaching Ministries celebrate 20 years of ministry this year. Members of the Ballymena-based mission (RTM) are looking forward to celebrating the organisation’s 20th anniversary by holding a special event at its Paradise Avenue Headquarters on Friday, 20th May 2016.
During what promises to be a memorable night, Kenneth Wilson, the Founder and Director of RTM will launch his book, ‘Reaching and Teaching With The Message of Love.’
This short volume is a highly readable account of how the Lord told Kenneth to set up the ministry as he read the words of ‘the great commission’ in Matthew 28, verses 19-20 and goes on to outline the key developments within the mission over the past two decades.
Readers will be fascinated to learn about the circumstances which led Kenneth and his wife, Dorothy to make their first overseas mission trip to Uganda and Rwanda in January 1996.
They should also be delighted to hear about the couple’s first expedition to the Philippines – a country which was to become their second home – as well as RTM’s labour in Ireland and India.
Reaching & Teaching Ministries charity shops in Ballymena and Coleraine are now a familiar site in both towns and Kenneth hopes his many supporters will enjoy finding out how these came into being and recounting many of the successes with which Jesus as blessed RTM over the years.
For all of these reasons, everyone connected with Reaching & Teaching Ministries is really pleased to have reached the two-decade milestone.
