Ballymena Walk Of Witness On Good Friday

The Ballymena Walk of Witness, which happens in the town each Good Friday, is arranged by the Clergy Fraternal and supported by Ballymena Church Members Forum.
Everyone is encouraged to come along and join them in the Walk of Witness, in what is described as ‘the public carrying of the Cross’ at Easter time.  The event is on Good Friday 25th March 2016 starting at 12 noon at the Bandstand, Broadway in Ballymena.

Ballymena Walk of Witness on Good Friday

The Ballymena Walk of Witness starts at The Bandstand at 12 noon on Good Friday.

A spokesperson for the walkers, said: “We will be moving off from the Bandstand and walking in silence along Church Street, Mill Street and Wellington Street to finish again with prayer at the Bandstand.”
“The event always attracts substantial interest and we encourage as many people as possible to join us on our Christian witness through the streets of Ballymena.”
