“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or
imagine, according to His power that is at work within us.”

We could never have imagined the support financially and prayerfully that we have had, as a family, since stepping out in faith to become Belfast City Mission workers. We are so humbled by God’s amazing provision! Thank you so much to everyone who supports us in any way. We really do appreciate it very much.

God has been so good to us within the work of Mayo Street. We give Him all the praise and glory for the 36 children who attend our Sunday School. For the 15 precious little ones that come to our Mums and Young Ones on a Tuesday morning, with their Mummy’s or Granny’s. It has been so good getting to know them personally. Also for all the children that come to Kids Club on a Wednesday evening. We have over 40 on average each week, which we thank God for.

On Thursdays, the Bible Study and Prayer meeting has the usual core of about 12 attending. We have started to bring a visiting missionary/speaker once a month to share their work, which has been very enjoyable. On Sunday evenings, the numbers are 15 or so. We have introduced a special service, or singer, usually the last Sunday of each month, with tea afterwards, to encourage folks in. We trust God that one day this will happen.

A first for us at Mayo Street is a Dedication Service for a young couple who bring their two girls to Mums And Young Ones. We pray that through this, they might begin to attend the services. We also will be holding a special Easter Service on 27th March 2016 (DV). We have invited all the children and their families, so we pray that some will attend.

On Friday 15th April 2016, the young people from Trinity Proclaim Choir are coming up to hold a Praise Service to raise funds for our annual Sunday School trip to Bangor. This will be advertised around the whole of our Mayo Street district, which is 1000 homes, so we trust that this will be supported.

We also have plans underway to hold a Kids Club Week from 1st-5th August 2016, with a family service on Sunday 7th August 2016. If you would be interested in helping out, in any way, this week in the summer, please speak to us, as we have lots of little jobs that we need help with!

As well as the weekly work and future planning, visiting the sick, taking outside meetings and other necessary duties still continue, so it can be hard to get the right balance between work life and home life. Please pray that we would get this balance right and never be too busy for our family or our spiritual life!

We’re delighted to bring you up to date with all that’s happening as we serve as Belfast City Mission workers in our capital city & thanks for your continued interest in our service for the Lord.
