A date for your diary – Clergy ‘In Conversation’ at the next meeting of Ballymena Church Members Forum.

Ballymena Church Members Forum invites you to a special event at Montgomerys Restaurant, Ballymoney Street, Ballymena on Wednesday 26th September at 7.30pm.
Following a short Annual General Meeting at the start of meeting, the main event will be a conversation between Rev Steve Stockman and Fr Martin Magill.

Looking forward to this, forum chairperson, Jennifer McLernon told The Church Page:
“These two clergymen have been involved in the work of reconciliation and bringing communities together for many years now. They are the driving force behind the Four Corners Festival which runs in Belfast each year.

Steve is originally from Ballymena and is currently Minister of Fitzroy Presbyterian Church in Belfast. Martin is from Aldergrove and is Parish Priest in St John’s Parish on the Falls Road Belfast.”

Jennifer also revealed that both men are friends of Ballymena Church Members Forum. In the past they have taken part in a retreat held some years ago at Corrymeela.
