The 2018 Gracehill Village Fair will be held on Saturday 23rd June from 1:00pm. The Fair is organised by Gracehill Moravian Church. All money raised on the day will go to the necessary repair funds which ensure the preservation of this unique place. If you’ve never been, a visit to this beautiful Moravian settlement just outside Ballymena is well worthwhile.
As well as the church and unique, quiet graveyard known as God’s Acre, there is much more to see. There’s the many distinctive stone buildings including the Museum and school (now used as a restaurant) and the restored old Post Office. There’s the Village square with its pond and mature oak trees. Conducted walking tours, which need to be booked in advance, are taken by the church and the Village Association. This 250 year old settlement is definitely well worth a visit. You can find out more about Gracehill Maravian Village here.
