Would you like to be a part of Building on Faith Week? Habitat For Humanity NI, working together with Ballymena Methodist Church, need your help!
They are inviting church members, either individually or in groups to put their faith into action by volunteering to help on a project in Ballymena.
Habitat NI say –
“We at Habitat NI have recently launched our newest local project. Working together with Ballymena Methodist Church, we will turn an empty, landmark building in the heart of Ballymena into much needed multi-purpose community space and 3 one bedroom apartments which will provide affordable accommodation for vulnerable young people.”

Will you or your church group be a part of Building on Faith Week?
“From 19th to 23rd June 2018 we are inviting church members, individually or in groups, to put their faith into action by building with us.
We would love to welcome you to our site. Bring a friend…or two or even a group from your church to help for the week. We can take volunteers aged 16 years old and upwards. (those aged 18 and under need parental consent and parental/guardian supervision)
During the lunch break each day guest speakers will come on site to speak about ‘Faith in Action’ affirming the special nature of the week and giving extra motivation to volunteers.
Volunteers can expect a variety of tasks including, clearing the site, demolition work and plaster boarding. Also general building work and eventually painting and decorating.
It will be hard work, great fun and make a huge difference to the local Ballymena community!”
