You are invited to First Steps, a Wycliffe Bible Translators event taking place in Ballyhenry Presbyterian Church.  It’s on Saturday 3rd March 2018 from 10:00am to 4:00pm. The church address is Ballyhenry Rd, Newtownabbey BT36 5AX.

First Steps - a Wycliffe Bible Translators Event

Discover the world of Bible translation.

It’s not right that while some have access to the whole Bible in their language, others have nothing. For millions today, it’s as if God is silent.
The First Steps event will help you discover the powerful impact of Bible translation today, whether you’re just interested to know more or you are already keen to get involved.

What should I expect?

We introduce you to the what, why and how of Bible translation. What exactly is it? Why is it so essential? And how is God using translated Scriptures around the world?

Discover the enormous variety of skills and expertise it takes for a people group to gain access to the Bible. You don’t need to be a translation expert to join the team. Discover what happens when people engage with the message of Jesus in their language for the first time!

Come to First Steps and discover the world of Bible translation and how you could be involved in getting the Bible to the 1.5 billion people still waiting.

This is one of four similar events confirmed to take place in England, Scotland and Wales during February and March 2018.
