This week we finish the series of verses which took us through the acronym – ACTS. Adoration, Confession, Thanksgiving and finally Supplication.
Supplication isn’t a word we use often today but a quick look through the dictionaries through up the following definitions – ‘a prayer of request or petition’ or ‘to plead humbly’
‘And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.’
Ephesians 6 v 18
‘Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.’
Philippians 4 v 6
