Ballymena Forum Inter Faith Tour

A Ballymena Forum Inter Faith Tour is being organised with a suggested date of Friday 17th June 2016.

Ballymena Inter Ethnic Forum and Ballymena Church Members Forum are planning a day trip by bus to Dublin. They plan to see the Mosque and the Synagogue in the city. Chairperson of Ballymena Church Forum, Wilbert Morton, explained: “It is also hoped that we could see the Roman Catholic and Protestant Cathedrals while in the city.
The suggested date for this trip is 17th June with the possibility of Friday 10th June being an alternative.”

“Explorations are also being made to see if we could have a conducted tour of the public areas of Aras an Uachtarain (the President’s residence) and maybe afternoon tea. The President is booked up more than a year ahead so there does not seem to be any chance of being introduced to him”, added Wilbert.

Are you interested in going on the Ballymena Forum Inter Faith Tour to Dublin?

At this point, organisers would need to have some idea of the number of people who would want to go on the trip so the bus can be booked. If you are interested in going to Dublin on the Ballymena Forum Inter Faith Tour it would be great if you could let Wilbert know as soon as possible. Also indicate which of the two suggested dates suits you best.
